Answers to your Questions

  1. Please refer to our section called Shooter's Information Guide for cost related to shooting in our range.
  2. NC firearms laws provide our guidelines.  To shoot a handgun you must be 21 years of age and to shoot a rifle you must be 18 years of age.  We however, allow those under these age requirement to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and enjoy range privileges.  We reserve the right to deny the usage of our range if we feel the skill level of the adult supervising the minor is not adequate to insure safety at all times.
  3. Rifles are not allowed in our range unless they are chambered in a handgun caliber.  We welcome  your to bring your favorite 22 LR rifle or 9mm Carbine.  If you are unsure of what is allowed, please feel free to ask before entering range.
  4. Due to the amount of electronics on our range, shotguns are not allowed. If you are looking for a place to enjoyed your shotgun, please allow us to make a few suggestions for local shooting clubs.
  5. Our range is designed for many firearms, however, we do not allow firing of high power rifles.  Even though we once allowed their use, the amount of damage caused by a few changed out policy on High Power Rifles.  If you are looking for a place to enjoyed your shotgun, please allow us to make a few suggestions for local shooting clubs.
  6. Blackpowder rifles, shotguns and revolvers are not allowed in our range.  Due to the amount of un-burned gun powder and the amount of smoke, we do not allow them to shoot in our range.
  7. When you visit our range we require everyone to use eye and ear protection.  If you do not have these items, you many rent these before entering range.  Tape, bull clips and cardboard are provided by Shooter's for you use while in the range.  Many bring sharpie pens, markers or purchase pasters to mark their shots.  Please do not use our tape as a target paster .
  8. We allow any hand gun caliber between a 22LR and 44 Magnum.
  9. We offer a large variety of targets for sale.  We do not allow shooters to bring their targets into our range.
  10. Shooter's Indoor Sports offers (8) 25 yard lanes.  Each booth is designed for one shooter.  We do allow 2 shooters to share a lane, however, only one shooter may be on the firing line at one time.
  11. Our staff will be more than happy to assist you while you are in our range.  If you would like one on one training with an instructor, please ask and we will schedule a time the is convenient for you and your instructor.
  12. Shooter's Indoor Sports current offers demo guns for your use while in our range.  Our selection changes from time to time order to offer the most popular models as well as the old favorites.  To protect our customers, we require that you use only our ammunition while using our demo guns.  Please review our Demo Gun Section for our current models.
  13. For those that do not have anything, Shooter's Indoor Sports can provide everything you need for enjoying our shooting range.  We can proved a demo firearm, safety equipment, ammo, targets and range time with firearm instruction.  The normal cost for one adult shooter is about $45.00.  This figure can change based on the amount of ammunition shot and the caliber the shooter decided to demo.
